INJURY HISTORY

2022 — Left Knee: Suffered a torn patellar tendon during Ohio State preseason camp, causing him to miss the entire 2022 season. Continued rehabilitation kept him out of Ohio                     State's 2023 spring practices before he returned to game action during the 2023 season.

PLAYER SUMMARY

Evan Pryor projects as a complete running back capable of impacting an offense as both a runner and receiver. His combination of elite foot quickness, instinctive decision-making, explosive acceleration, and ability to consistently generate hidden yardage allows him to create offense beyond what is blocked. Whether attacking between the tackles or exploiting the perimeter, Pryor demonstrates the vision, athleticism, and playmaking ability to stress defenses from multiple alignments.

His ability to make defenders miss in confined areas is reminiscent of Jamaal Charles, particularly in the loose hips, exceptional ankle flexion, and instinctive football IQ that allow him to manipulate his body and find escape routes where little space appears available.

Although his collegiate opportunities have been limited, the traits consistently displayed on film suggest a player whose ceiling remains considerably higher than his production to date. With continued opportunities, Pryor possesses the complete skill set to develop into a high-impact starting running back at the next level.

Pryor possesses a first-round caliber skill set based on my film evaluation; however, his opportunity to fully showcase that ability may remain limited at Florida. Following his transfer, Pryor enters a backfield featuring Jadan Baugh, who is widely regarded as one of the top running back prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft. That situation could restrict Pryor's workload and prevent his collegiate production from fully reflecting his NFL potential. For that reason, his evaluation should remain centered on the traits and ability demonstrated when opportunities are available rather than on total carries or production alone.
